Crystal Care Solutions: Workplace Sexual Harassment Prevention Plan
This Workplace Sexual Harassment Prevention Plan is designed to clearly communicate our commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional work environment for all employees. It summarizes key actions, responsibilities, and support available to prevent and address sexual harassment in the workplace.
Our Commitment
We are dedicated to fostering a workplace where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued. Sexual harassment in any form is unacceptable and will be addressed promptly and effectively.
Creating a Safe Working Environment
• Sleep-in rooms are kept secure to protect privacy and safety.
• Lone working procedures and safety devices are in place and must be followed.
• Professional boundaries are maintained at all times.
• Visitors and contractors are properly identified and monitored.
• Off-site work and events are conducted with safety and professionalism.
Supporting Vulnerable Staff
We recognize that some staff groups may be more vulnerable to harassment. We encourage all employees to be aware, speak up, and support colleagues. Managers have a responsibility to check in regularly and ensure reasonable adjustments and clear reporting routes.
Policy Awareness and Compliance
All employees are expected to read and understand our anti-harassment and related policies, which are accessible via the Staff Portal. Managers reinforce these policies and model appropriate behaviour.
Training and Development
Mandatory training on equality, diversity, and inclusion, including harassment prevention, is provided regularly. Additional training is available as needed.
Reporting Concerns and Support
Multiple confidential reporting channels are available, including line managers, HR, safeguarding leads, grievance and whistleblowing procedures. Support services such as the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offer confidential counselling.
Maintaining Professional Boundaries
Employees are expected to maintain respectful communication and avoid situations that could blur professional boundaries, including at social events.
Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
Policies and practices are regularly reviewed and improved based on feedback and audits to ensure a safe workplace.
Summary for All Staff
• Know and follow workplace policies.
• Maintain professional boundaries.
• Report concerns early through confidential routes.
• Support colleagues and challenge inappropriate behaviour.
• Engage fully in training and use available support.
