SPECIALIST THERAPEUTIC PLACEMENTS: THROUGH THEIR EYES
We operate a cluster of specialist homes across the North West and West Midlands, providing specialist therapeutic care for young men who display specific behaviours. Our approach focuses on long-term risk reduction, starting with a comprehensive AIM3 assessment and by understanding each young person's perspective to build a safer future.
Evidence-Based Assessment: Placements begin with a minimum 26-week assessment and intervention program delivered by our Therapeutic Partners G-Map.
Continuous Therapy: A comprehensive report is produced at 20 weeks; however, active participation in therapy is required for the full duration of the young person's stay.
Risk Management: We utilise the 'Good Lives Model' and the 'ICOPE' (Incremental Community Opportunities Programme Experience) framework to help young people manage their own risks and maintain safety.
Clinical Supervision: Staff receive weekly liaison sessions and clinical supervision from G-Map Senior Practitioners to ensure high standards of therapeutic progress.
Bespoke Training: Registered Managers and staff teams undergo weekly training tailored specifically to the needs of the individual child, covering areas such as trauma, attachment, and functional analysis.
